It's been a busy summer with these guys. Lots of fun in the yard with the sprinkler pool grampie bought them last summer (RIP pool, you will be missed!), fun at the park, fair and the grandma's houses. Lately the boys have been playing pretend together, reading together and there has been lots of racing. Oh everything is a race. Silas is learning to count and David is learning to write.
Things most frequently heard in the Page household are "What happened??" "Ready, set, GO!", "Beeeecause, monster trucks all day!" (I couldn't tell you how that became their answer any time you ask "why?") and "THAT'S MINE!". We're working on that last one...
Both boys have stared a reward system where they get coins in their jars for helping mommy around the house, sharing, and using the potty. They are saving up to buy new monster truck toys, and working HARD for the money! Potty training is hit or miss dependant on sleep acquired the night before, whether nap time was a success, and David's persistent stomach problems. They're gettin there and I'm hopeful that mid fall the boys can start preschool at the Montessori school down the road.
Life is chuggin along and I'm a blessed mama with two growing, thriving boys who are doing amazing and make me proud every single day.
