Update
Sorry I haven't been very good about posting lately, things have been super busy! Just wanted to update on little David and his medical stuff. He's back on the prevacid for his reflux but I think it might only be back because he's teething again. He has all 4 of the k-9 teeth coming in at once and teething can cause a reflux flare. We took him back about two weeks ago to the ped allergist and he did the skin testing again. This time he had a really severe reaction to eggs as well as milk, cats and DOGS. :*( This explains why we could never fully get rid of his rashes since he is allergic to Paco and Corona. So unfortunately they have to go live with my mom for now but were hoping that he will grow out of it!
Other then that we just have to be VERY careful with what he eats because even things with eggs or milk in the ingredients cause him to break out in hives and make it really painful when he goes to the bathroom. It's no fun but were getting better at figuring out what he can and can't have.
His Dr says that even though his weight is still dropping percentages on the chart that its just fine and he's doing great especially considering his reflux and food restrictions! So I was VERY relieved to hear that and know that he's doing just fine! He's gotten so much better about eating now too and amazes us every day with how much more he can eat every time!
So that's that as far as his medical stuff. Other then that he's doing great and I swear he learns a new word every single day! Today it was "swim" because we went to the pool for the first time this summer. It still isn't heated but he didn't care at all! The other kids were crying because their moms were wanting them to swim, but he was crying because he didn't want to get out of the pool even though it was cold! My crazy little fish.
His vocabulary so far includes lots of surprising things like switch, hook, vent (all things he's very focused on and asks 74839293875 times "what's that!?"), mine, what?, dog, yes, no, who's that?, where going?, more, please, all done (still working on getting this consistently), book, ball, car and truck (which lately have turned into "vroooom vrooooom"), woooow, shoes, water and move (to tell the dogs).
Well I think that's it about him for now. The new little guy is getting big and kicking away! We still don't have a name for him but we will keep you updated. Love and miss you all!
